Search
To get started, search for a chemical.
In a simple search, you can only search one field at a time: choose to run either a name search, a CAS number search, or a UN/NA number search. More info about simple searches...
Tips:
- Name searches can use complete or partial names. Leave off prefixes (such as "para-" or "1,2-") and punctuation from search terms to increase the number of matches. Searching on a multi-word phrase separated with spaces (such as "boron tri") will find ANY datasheet whose name includes ALL of the words in your search criteria; word order does not matter.
- CAS number and UN/NA searches must use complete identification numbers; partial numbers aren't allowed in the simple search. (CAS numbers are created by the Chemical Abstracts Service as unique identifiers for chemicals. United Nations/North American numbers identify an individual chemical or group of chemicals with similar characteristics. These numbers are required on shipping papers and often shown on placards and labels.)
You can also use the advanced search on the full CAMEO Chemicals site.
